Inktank’s guys are awesome!

Thanks to that article I would like to highlight the professionalism of the Inktank’s guys. That week I had a bad time with Ceph after a new CRUSH map injection. I went directly to the Ceph IRC channel to find some help. I quickly got an answer from ‘sjust’. He quickly offered me his help, I explained my situation and neither one nor two, told me to upload my files (logs, binary) to a special sftp server dedicated to this purpose.

Regardless of the fact that it was due to a mistake/type of mine, he had made a great effort to help me. Of course I mentionned “sjust” but all the guys on IRC are always pleased to help.

It’s one thing to talk the talk about open source, and another to walk the walk.

That’s just one simple example to show you what kind of attitude these guys have…personally I find it just awesome. So thanks again! Needliess to say that I’ll never hesitate to subscribe to a premium support from Inktank.
